Claire is founder of “Lately I’ve Been, a NYC based blog that has quickly caught the attention of the fashion elite, with it’s seamlessly interwoven display of high and low end brands, neatly juxtaposed with playfully humorous commentary on life in the big city. Her first full-length play, IT STOPS HERE, is being given a staged reading at Gloucester Stage on September 20, 2022.Ĭlaire emerged as Lucky Magazines “blogger girl crush,” and one of the New York City fashion seasons most photographed personalities. Her adaptation of a Canadian children’s story became LOVE FROM HALIFAX, which was presented at GSC in 2021. She adapted Dylan Thomas’ “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” and Erica Funkhouser’s “Christmas 1956” for Gloucester Stage in 20 respectively, and conceived and directed a maritime literary/musical presentation as a prelude to the premiere of Ron Wyman’s film “The Fisherman’s Wife” at GSC in 2019. has also served on the boards of the Gloucester Writers Center, Maritime Gloucester, and the Schooner Adventure, and currently serves on Gloucester’s Affordable Housing Trust and is on the board of the Cape Ann Farmers Market. She was the co-artistic director of the former Blackburn Theatre Company of Gloucester (1985-1990.) M.J.
